EMBASSY OF TURKMENISTAN IN GEORGIA ORGANIZED A ROUND TABLE DEDICATED TO THE FIRST CASPIAN ECONOMIC FORUM

On May 30, 2019, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Georgia held a round table meeting dedicated to the First Caspian Economic Forum to be held on August 12, 2019, in the National Tourist Zone “Avaza” in Turkmenbashi.

The round table was attended by faculty and students of various higher education institutions of Georgia, as well as the representatives of mass media.

Speakers noted that the initiative to hold the First Caspian Economic Forum was proposed by President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov at the V Summit of the Heads of Caspian States. It was underlined that one of the important missions of this Forum is to use the unifying factor of the Caspian Sea for consolidating the efforts aimed at expanding mutually beneficial trade and economic cooperation, including the development of mechanisms for effective management of natural resources.
