Flower laying ceremony to the Monument of Magtumguly Fragi takes place in Ankara

On occasion of the Day of Cultural and Art Personnel and the Day of Magtumguly Fragi Poetry, the Embassy of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Turkey has organized flower laying ceremony to the Monument of Magtumguly, which is located in Turkmenistan Park in Ankara.

Senior Advisor of the President of the Republic of Turkey Yalcin Topcu, Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism Nadir Alparslan as well as representatives of the Foreign Ministry Kaan Orbay and Ashkyn Cakmak, TURKSOY Deputy Secretary General Bilal Cakygy have visited the ceremony as honoured guests.

Number of other countries’ ambassadors, representatives of the Parliament and different departments of Turkey, famous literature personnel and public activists, members of Turkmen – Turkish Freindship Society, Turkmen diaspora and students, personnel of Anatoly News Agency, TRT TV channel and other mass media took part in the ceremony.

During the event, the participants have noted humanistic message and huge importance of works of the greatest Turkmen poet and thinker, outstanding master of artistic word Magtumguly Fragi for development of national culture and understanding of mental values of Turkmen people. In this aspect, importance of cultural dialog and popularization of historical and cultural heritage has been noted.

The emphasis has also been laid on the 25th anniversary of neutrality of Turkmenistan this year, which was recognized by the United Nations two times and laid in its multilateral documents as well as on contribution of our country to provision of universal peace and progress.
