CONSULATE GENERAL IN HERAT

In order to ensure the fulfilment of Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan No. 1886 dated September 4, 2020 "On further improvement of the work of the consular service of Turkmenistan", the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution, authorizing to reorganize the Consulate of Turkmenistan in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan (Herat) into the Consulate General of Turkmenistan in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan (Herat).

The document instructed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs jointly with the Ministry of Justice to draft the relevant proposals on amending the legislation of Turkmenistan within a month and submit them to the Cabinet of Ministers.

The Resolution comes into force on January 1, 2021.
