CONSUL GENERAL OF TURKMENISTAN IN THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION HAS A MEETING WITH RECTOR OF KAZAN STATE ENGINEERING UNIVERSITY AND TURKMEN STUDENTS

On February 11, 2021, Consul General of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation (Kazan) A.H. Bayramov met with the Rector of Kazan State Power Engineering University E.U. Abdullazyanov.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the issues of further strengthening the Turkmen-Russian relations in the field of education and science. It was noted that the Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan and Kazan State Power Engineering University on June 23, 2019. To ensure the implementation of the Memorandum, the parties take specific measures. Special attention was paid to the quality of training of future Turkmen specialists, their living conditions in dormitories, involvement in the daily life of the university, etc.

Then there was a meeting with Turkmen students studying at Kazan State Power Engineering University. During the meeting, the Consul General expressed commitment of the diplomatic institution to provide all the necessary support to Turkmen students to receive high-quality education on the territory of the Russian Federation. The Consulate General also called on Turkmen students to actively participate in sports, cultural and other events, to join the work of the university, aimed at improving both theoretical and practical skills of students.

On the outcomes of the meeting, it was emphasized the effectiveness of the measures taken within the framework of the documents previously signed with the Turkmen side. The meeting participants expressed willingness to further expand bilateral cooperation.
