The President of Turkmenistan holds video conference working session

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held regular video conference working session with participation of some Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, heads of ministries and profile departments as well as hyakims of the velayats. The agenda included objectives related to implementation of the programmes of social and economic development of the country, seasonal agricultural works, preparation to coming celebrations and remarkable dates.

Opening the session, the Head of the State called Hyakkim of Ahal Velayat S. Berdimuhamedov who reported on the works in the region, measures for improvement of efficiency of agricultural sector, readiness to the beginning of winter crop sowing and cotton harvesting. In addition, the information about the measures of improvement of social and living infrastructure of the velayat, acceleration of the rates of construction of facilities and preparation to celebrations has been presented.

Summing up the report, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted the necessity of proper preparation of agricultural equipment and seeds to winter crop sowing. The Head of the State has also focused on thorough organization of the cotton harvest campaign.

Having focused on coming remarkable events, first on the celebration of the 28th anniversary of independence of the country, Turkmen leader noted the importance to provide high organizational level of events.

The President has also focused on the subjects of preparation to winter season, timely maintenance works at social facilities.

Having expressed interest in works at the construction of new administration centre of Ahal Velayat, the Head of the State called Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Ch. Gylyjov who is in charge of this region.

The Vice-premier reported on targeted measures taken in the velayat at present time, which are provided by the Programme of social and economic development of the country in 2019 – 2025. It was informed that it is planned to organize the events on occasion of the beginning of the construction of new modern administration centre in Ahal Velayat on Saturday.

Having noted that it is necessary to hold under permanent control the issues related with successful solution of objectives for comprehensive development of the velayat, the President focused on organization of all planned events on high level.

After, the head of the State called Hyakim of Balkan Velayat Ya. Gylyjov who reported on the situation in the region, preparation to coming seasonal agricultural works as well as on the measures for implementation of National rural programme.

It was mentioned that celebration of the Independence Day and participation of representatives from the velayat in the People’s Council are in the centre of special attention. It was also reported on the preparation of social facilities to winter season.

Having listened to the report, the Head of the State highlighted the necessity of optimum use of available capabilities for successful cotton harvest campaign and winter crop sowing, having requested to hold under control all issues related with these responsible campaigns as well as to development of agriculture in the velayat.

In addition, it is necessary to pay unremitting control to modernization of social and living infrastructure, engineering and technical systems, in particular, to their preparation to winter season and, in general, to integrated approach to fulfilment of objectives for systematic improvement of social and living conditions of the population. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has also given number of assignments for provision of high-level preparation to the People’s Council and Independence Day.

After, Hyakim of Dashoguz Velayat N. Nazarmyradov reported on the situation in the region, measures for improvement of work efficiency in agricultural complex, preparation to cotton harvest and winter crop sowing, on the course of construction of different facilities. The Hyakim has also informed about the programme of cultural and public events timed to remarkable dates.

Speaking of the main directions of preparation to coming important campaigns in agricultural complex, the Head of the State highlighted the importance of efficient use of agricultural equipment, coordinated activity of relative structures.

Highlighting the importance of timely completion of construction of the facilities, the President focused on the course of works at new constructions planned to be commissioned by the Independence Day. The Hyakim received specific assignments related to coming Independence Day and People’s Council.

At the same time, the Head of the State ordered to hold under permanent control the readiness of heating systems of social facilities to winter season.

Video conference session was continued by the report of Hyakim of Lebap Velayat T. Atahalliyev who reported on the situation in the region, in particular, on preparation to cotton harvesting and winter crops sowing.

In addition, it was reported on the measures for timely commissioning of the facilities under construction, organization of events in honour of national holidays.

Having listened to the report, the Head of the State focused on the importance of implementation of advanced practice and latest scientific achievements to agriculture. Having noted the importance of issues of social and economic development of the velayat, the Head of the State gave number of instruction for provision of high-level preparation to coming celebration events to the Hyakim.

After, Hyakim of Mary Velayat D. Annaberdiyev reported on the works in the region, including those related to the beginning of seasonal agricultural campaigns, measures for successful implementation of National rural programme.

Special attention in the report was paid to the preparation to the session of the People’s Council, celebration of the 28th anniversary of independence of the country. in this regard, special attention is paid to cultural programme of celebration events.

At present time, the farmers have responsible task to start the cotton sowing and sowing of winter crops in organized manner, the President noted, having focused on the importance of their conduct on integrated base. Special attention has to be paid to provision of proper operational condition of equipment, which would be used in these campaigns, quality f seeding material, readiness of other resources, organization of uninterrupted operation of cotton reception facilities.

The Hyakim has also received the instruction to accelerate the rates of construction of the facilities especially those, which were planned to be commissioned by the Independence Day, preparation of heating systems to winter season and carry out necessary maintenance work.

Continuing video conference session, the Head of the State called Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers E. Orazgeldiyev and Chairman of the State Water Management Committee A. Yazmyradov.

First, the Vice-premier reported on the preparation to the start of winter crop sowing. It was informed that all measures for conducting of sowing campaign on high level and in outlined period have been taken. In this context, the Vice-premier reported on delivery of the batch of high productive cotton harvesters to the country.

The Head of the State ordered to provide organized sowing of winter crops, to create necessary conditions for productive work of the farmers and all profile structures involved in this responsible campaign.

After, Minister of Agriculture and Natural Protection M. Bayramguliyev reported on relative preparation to the beginning of winter crops sowing and cotton harvest. It was informed that special programme for unhindered solution of the issues related to organization of the campaign and timely payment for delivered harvest.

Summing up the report, the President highlighted that successful solution of set objectives is very important in strengthening of production potential of agricultural complex.

After, Chairman of the State Water Management Committee A. Yazmyradov reported on the programme of provision of agricultural fields with water, timely irrigation of the fields, which would be sown with winter crops. It was mentioned that modern technologies are implemented to the work for efficient use of water resources of the country, modernization of irrigation networks.

Having highlighted that water provision of agricultural fields is the guarantee of good harvest, the Head of the State pointed out on scientifically based approach to the subjects of improvement of irrigation systems.

Summing up the outcomes of the session, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov wished success in solution of set objectives to the participants.
