President of Korea Moon Jae-in congratulates Turkmen leader on V Asian Games

President of the Republic of Korea Moon Jae-in has sent the head of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov a congratulatory letter on the occasion of the 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games in Ashgabat. National team increases its medal haul to 148

Today, competitions continued in 13 sports at the 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games in Ashgabat. The day saw the Turkmen team win 21 medals (including 6 gold medals) in belt wrestling, kurash, show-jumping, Thai boxing (Muay Thai), and weightlifting events.  The national team of Turkmenistan has already collected a total of 148 medals (59 gold, 43 silver and 46 bronze) at the Games, having taken the lead in the overall medal count.  The Olympic Complex’s main Media Center hosted a me...

Thai boxer Jennet Aynazarova is gold medal winner of the V Asian Games

Turkmenistan fighter Jennet Aynazarova (57 kg) won the gold in the final day of Thai Boxing competitions having won Sirosipa Sirisak from Thailand, the origin place of this sport, by technical knockout.  In the semi-final, Jennet also won by technical knockout over her rival from Lebanon Maya Houdroge.

Show jumping competitions that started on September 19 had Ahalteke Cup contest today.
