MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF TURKMENISTAN DISCUSSED THE CURRENT ISSUES OF WIDENING PARTNERSHIP WITH THE AMBASSADOR OF THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN

On the 11th of July 2019, a meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan R.Meredov with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Turkmenistan Zh.Asanov was held at the MFA of Turkmenistan.

During the meeting, the parties noted the multifaceted strengthening of cooperation between the two states and discussed the current issues related to the Turkmen-Kazakh relations in political-diplomatic, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres. 

The diplomats stressed the effectiveness of the activities of the Joint Intergovernmental Turkmen-Kazakh Commission on Economic, Scientific-Technical and Cultural Cooperation, the successive round of which was held in March of the current year.  Particularly the growth of trade turnover between the two countries was noted that has a positive impact on the development of economic ties.   

Speaking about the diplomatic dialogue, the parties discussed the opportunities for organizing the high-level visits, as well as conducting the consultations between the external policy agencies of two countries.
