PRESIDENT OF TURKMENISTAN INSPECTS NEW AMBULANCE HELICOPTER PURCHASED IN RUSSIA

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov inspected new medical helicopter "ANSAT", purchased in Russia, designed to provide emergency medical care.

To inspect the new equipment produced by the Kazan Helicopters (the Republic of Tatarstan) by order of the “Turkmen Airlines” Agency, the President of Turkmenistan arrived at the helipad of the medical town in the south of Ashgabat.

Minister of Health and Medical Industry Nurmuhammed Amannepesov presented technical characteristics of the new medical helicopter to the President of Turkmenistan.

After inspecting the helicopter and commenting the reports of the government officials, the President of Turkmenistan instructed Chairman of the "Turkmen Airlines" Agency Dovran Saburov and Minister of Health and Medical Industry Nurmuhammed Amannepesov to study the possibility of purchasing such equipment for the regions of the country.

Moreover, the Turkmen leader ordered, if necessary, to use helicopters in the work of the State Commission for Emergency Situations.
